Say Goodbye to the "Big White Sphere."
Creatrol Quad-Element PIR Sensor:
Redefining the Baseline of Motion Sensing.Quad-Element PIR Intro

In professional smart sensing layouts, we prioritize efficiency.
While we deploy 24GHz/60GHz radars for "stay-in" areas like bedrooms and boardrooms to capture breathing-level micro-motions, we must also consider the "transient zones"—hallways, foyers, and walk-in closets.

Is there a sensor that reduces project budgets without compromising the aesthetic and performance standards of luxury residences or high-end offices?

The Flaws of Standard PIRs:

  • ❌ Aesthetic Intrusion: Large, protruding white hemispheres that disrupt refined interior designs.
  • ❌ Detection Lags: Low-cost dual-element probes that miss fast-moving targets or fail during summer temperature spikes.

PIR should not be a synonym for "cheap." Creatrol has applied the same rigorous standards used in our radar development to reshape the limits of infrared sensing.

Evolution of the Core: Quad-Element vs. Dual-Element

What is "Quad-Element Sensing"?
90% of PIR sensors on the market use "Dual-Element" probes, which are primarily sensitive to movement in a single direction (e.g., side-to-side but blind to front-to-back movement).

Creatrol PIR sensors come standard with Quad-Element (4-unit) Infrared Probes:

  • Doubled Sensing Density: Four sensing units integrated into a single probe form a dense detection matrix.
  • Omnidirectional Capture: Whether you are crossing the path or walking directly toward the sensor, the quad-element probe captures pyroelectric signal changes far more acutely than dual-element alternatives.
  • Enhanced Anti-Interference: Superior common-mode rejection significantly reduces false triggers caused by airflow or sunlight.
Quad-Element Principle

Optical Aesthetics: Custom Micro-Arc Fresnel Lens

35mm "Invisible" DNA:
Part of the MiNi Series, this sensor features the signature Ø 35mm cutout. It is the size of a standard spotlight, blending seamlessly into the ceiling without drawing attention.

35mm Cutout

Rejecting the "Bulb" Look:
Traditional PIRs use bulky hemispherical lenses to focus light. Creatrol has re-engineered this via precision optics.
Micro-Arc Design: Once installed, the surface presents only a subtle arc, nearly flush with the ceiling.
Precision Texture: High-density optical textures are carved into an ultra-thin lens, maintaining a 100° wide-angle field of view while compressing the physical volume.

Strategic Positioning: The Golden Partner for Radar

In whole-home or commercial lighting projects, this sensor is the ultimate tool for budget optimization:

  • Core Areas (Radar): Use Creatrol 24GHz/60GHz radars in living rooms, bedrooms, and offices to ensure lights stay on during stationary activities.
  • Transition Zones (PIR): Use Creatrol Quad-Element PIRs in hallways, stairwells, and closets.
  • Cost-Efficiency: Significantly lower hardware costs compared to radars.
  • Purpose-Built Performance: Ideal for "Lights on upon entry, off upon exit" scenarios.
  • Unified Aesthetic: Maintains the same 35mm cutout and minimalist design across the entire project.

Application Scenarios

  • Foyers & Entryways: Captures entry movement instantly. High sensitivity ensures "Instant-on" lighting with zero perceptible delay.
  • Hallways & Stairwells: The premier choice for traffic-based lighting. Integrated light sensing ensures lights only activate at night or in low-ambient conditions.
  • Walk-in Closets & Storage: Avoid the "darkness while searching" awkwardness. Quad-element probes are far superior at capturing limb movements (like reaching for clothes) than dual-element versions.
  • Commercial Warehousing & Fire Escapes: Ideal for large-scale deployment to manage project budgets while providing reliable security and lighting triggers.

Detection Range

360° Wide-Angle: At a 3.0m mounting height, the max motion detection diameter is ≥ 6.0 meters.

Version Descriptions

Tuya Version

The sensor integrates into the global Tuya IoT ecosystem via ZigBee/WiFi. Users can effortlessly add devices, configure scenes, and manage operations remotely via the app, ensuring flexible deployment.

Beyond simple device linkage, the app provides real-time visibility into activity and bed occupancy (in-bed/out-of-bed) status. If a fall or prolonged inactivity is detected, alerts are pushed to the smartphone within milliseconds, breaking spatial limitations.

Seamless automation with a vast array of Tuya-compatible devices (e.g., lights, sockets, curtain motors) makes it ideal for smart homes, hotels, and smart commercial installations.
