Creatrol Sensor, a specialist in human-centric sensing technology, has officially launched its KNX series sensor products. The lineup includes four core categories: the 24GHz Breathing Presence Sensor, ToF Distance Measurement Sensor, High-Altitude Micro-Motion Radar, and PIR Quad-IR Pyroelectric Sensor.

The newly released Creatrol KNX series showcases standout features in R&D and design:Full compatibility with the KNX protocol, enabling seamless integration into existing KNX smart systems and breaking down device interoperability barriers.Flexible installation options including embedded, surface-mounted, wall-mounted, and pre-embedded configurations to suit diverse indoor layout requirements.

The Creatrol Mini series strikes an ideal balance between compact size (35mm ultra-small aperture, 25mm ultra-thin body) and full-featured perception, meeting the demands of all scenarios. Each of the four sensor types excels in core performance and scenario adaptation, addressing distinct sensing needs:
  • 24GHz Breathing Presence Sensor
Employs FMCW frequency-modulated continuous wave technology to integrate presence detection, ambient light sensing, and micro-motion/motion detection, with stepless parameter adjustment. At an installation height of 2.5–3.5m, it covers up to 7.0m diameter for micro-motion/motion detection and 4.0m for stationary presence.
Applications: Monitors workstation occupancy in offices to adjust lighting automatically; reports usage in smart meeting rooms for energy-saving control; serves as an invisible switch in homes/classrooms to power devices on/off based on occupancy.

  • ToF Distance Measurement Sensor
Leverages ToF technology for occupancy detection, 3-zone sensing, precise ranging (0.1–3.2m), and ambient light monitoring. Detection angle: 11°; range diameter ≤0.4m at 2.0m.
Applications: Adjusts exhibit lighting based on visitor proximity in museums; guides users to available facilities in public restrooms via smart system linkage.
  • High-Altitude Micro-Motion Radar
Designed for extra-high spaces (4–12m installation), with micro-motion/motion detection within a 12m diameter, adjustable sensitivity, and built-in ambient light sensing.
Applications: Detects subtle movements in airport waiting halls for adaptive lighting; monitors crowd flow in train stations to ensure safe illumination.
  • PIR Quad-IR Pyroelectric Sensor
Features a compact quad-IR probe for motion detection, ambient light sensing, and adaptive indicator lights. Detection diameter ≤5.0m at 2.5m height.
Applications: Controls lights and appliances in home entryways/corridors; enables “light-on/when-occupied” automation in commercial building passages to reduce energy costs.

A Creatrol representative emphasized that the KNX series embodies four key technical strengths: high-precision detection, flexible installation, seamless integration, and versatile applications. Moving forward, Creatrol will continue to advance human-centric sensing technologies, developing more adaptable and stable smart sensing products that drive the evolution and adoption of intelligent living scenarios.
